The smallest machines in our range — machines from 15 to 20 hp, weighing 570 to 705 kg, priced from 165,000 to 213,000 CZK incl. VAT. The median price is around 175,000 CZK.
This category includes compact Kubotas of the GB and Aste A series, the B72, JB18 and Saturn X20. All have all-wheel drive and a three-point hitch, so unlike ride-on mowers you can fit genuine mounted implements to them. They are ideal for maintaining gardens, orchards and grassland around a house or cottage.

How to choose a garden tractor
In this class, weight and dimensions matter most. A machine under 700 kg will not damage a well-kept lawn and fits through a garden gate and between trees — which is exactly why people buy one. 15 to 20 hp is enough for mowing, mulching, light soil work and carting material on a trailer.
If you plan to plough, work in the forest or use a front loader, this category is at its limit and you should look at the GL range.

What to watch out for
- Machine width. Before deciding, measure the narrowest point you will regularly drive through — a garden gate, a yard gate, a passage between buildings.
- Tyres to suit the surface. Turf tyres suit a well-kept lawn; agricultural tread tears it up.
- Choose light mounted implements. A machine under 700 kg cannot handle implements designed for a thirty-horsepower tractor.
- 4WD is fitted on every machine in our range, which is useful in sloping gardens.
Frequently asked questions
Is a garden tractor the same as a ride-on mower?
No. The machines in this category are fully fledged compact tractors with a three-point hitch, PTO shaft and hydraulics — just in the smallest size. A ride-on mower can do little more than mow.
How large an area is it suitable for?
An ordinary garden, orchard or plot of up to about two hectares. Above two hectares, power and weight start to fall short and a more powerful machine pays off.
Will the machine damage my lawn?
Not at a weight of 570 to 705 kg and with suitable tyres. That is exactly why these machines are popular on well-kept areas.
What warranty do I get?
The same as for our other machines — one year on the engine and gearbox, with a warranty and service booklet and free operator training.
