Flail Mulchers
Flail mulchers for compact tractors and tractors with a working width from 105 to 220 cm. The range is built on three TCM series — the lighter SMK for regular grass maintenance, the more robust TMK for overgrown areas and the HPM with hydraulic side shift — complemented by special verge mulchers and mulchers with a collection box.
All mulchers attach to the three-point hitch and are driven by a 540 rpm PTO shaft. Prices start at 32,065 CZK. Replacement hammers, Y-blades and fasteners are in a separate subcategory.

How to choose a flail mulcher
First decide what you will be mulching. Regularly mown grass can be handled by the lighter SMK series. Taller growth, self-seeded saplings and small shrubs call for the TMK or HPM. If you need to work beside the tractor's track — along a fence, under trees, in a ditch — look for hydraulic side shift (HPM) or a verge mulcher.
Then choose the working width according to tractor power. For each model we state the minimum recommended power; a wider mulcher on a weak tractor will choke in dense growth.

What to watch out for
- Tractor hydraulics. Verge mulchers need two hydraulic circuits; the HPM series needs a hydraulic outlet for the side shift. Check your machine's equipment.
- Hammers are a wear part. Worn hammers or blades reduce shredding quality and strain the bearings. Replacements can be found in the flail mulcher spare parts category.
- A flail mulcher is not a hay mower. It shreds the growth and leaves it on the ground. If you want to harvest the grass, you need a drum mower, or a mulcher with a collection box.
- Stony ground. Where there is a risk of stones being thrown, for example in public green spaces, models with a collection box are more suitable.
Frequently asked questions
What working width should I choose for a 20 hp compact tractor?
According to the manufacturer, 125 cm — for example the SMK 125 (from 18 hp) or TMK 125 (from 20 hp); the HPM 125 requires a tractor from 27 hp. A 145 cm working width requires roughly 23 to 27 hp depending on the series.
What is the difference between the SMK and the TMK?
The SMK is the lighter series for regular grass maintenance. The TMK has a more robust construction and hammers and handles taller growth, saplings and small shrubs.
What is hydraulic side shift for?
The mulcher moves 40 cm out of line with the tractor. This lets you mulch along a fence, under tree canopies or at the edge of a track without driving the tractor right up to the obstacle.
Is the PTO shaft included?
For the entire HPM series and for the TMK 165 and TMK 200 models, yes. For other models, check the product description or ask us.
