Flail Mulcher Spare Parts
Wear and spare parts for TCM flail mulchers — hammers, small hammers, Y-blades in two weights, bolts with self-locking nuts and spacer rings. When choosing, the mulcher series (SMK, TMK, HPM) and its working width are what matter.
As a general rule, mulchers with a working width of 105–145 cm use 12 mm fasteners and the lighter 0.3 kg Y-blades, while large mulchers of 165–200 cm use 16 mm fasteners and 0.6 kg Y-blades.

What to watch out for
- Replace complete sets. Unevenly worn hammers unbalance the rotor and destroy the bearings.
- Switching from hammers to Y-blades is possible — spacer rings are used to seat the blades on the shaft.
- Do not mix sizes. 12 mm and 16 mm parts are not interchangeable.
Frequently asked questions
How many hammers do I need for a replacement?
As many as your mulcher has — 20 to 36 for the HPM series depending on working width, 16 to 24 for the SMK. The exact number is given in the specifications of the specific mulcher.
Which is better, hammers or Y-blades?
Hammers are more durable and also shred coarser material such as saplings and twigs. Y-blades give a cleaner cut on grass. The choice depends on what you mulch most often.
Do the parts fit mulchers of other brands?
The parts are designed for TCM mulchers. For another brand, compare the hole size, weight and mounting method, or send us a photo of the old part.
