Kubota piston GL
What the part is for: The piston transfers the pressure of the burning mixture via the piston pin and connecting rod to the crankshaft and, together with the rings, seals the combustion chamber. A worn or seized piston shows as blue smoke, increased oil consumption, knocking and poorer starting.
How to check that the part fits: You can verify the fit using the compatible models listed in the short description and in the product parameters. If you cannot find your model in the list or are not sure, send us a query and we will check everything.
What to replace at the same time: Replace the piston rings at the same time, check the clearance of the piston pin and connecting rod bearings and use a new cylinder head gasket. After assembly, run the engine in and change the oil and oil filter.
