Exhaust manifold gasket
What the part is for: The exhaust manifold gasket seals the joint between the exhaust manifold and the cylinder head. A burnt-through gasket shows up as a louder exhaust, a smell of exhaust fumes and black soot around the joint.

What to replace at the same time: Together with the gasket, we recommend new exhaust bolts or nuts and checking the manifold for cracks. Tighten the bolts evenly.
