Radiator cap
What the part does: The radiator cap maintains overpressure in the cooling system and thus raises the boiling point of the coolant. A faulty cap seal or spring shows up as coolant loss, boiling and engine overheating.

What to replace at the same time: Together with the cap, check the radiator neck, the hoses and the coolant level. If the coolant is old or contaminated, replace it.
