Rubber mount
What the part does: The rubber mount separates two metal parts and absorbs vibration and shocks, protecting the joints and reducing noise. A hardened, cracked or torn mount shows up as increased vibration and loosening of the mounting.

What to replace at the same time: Always replace the rubber mounts on one part together so that the part sits evenly. Use new nuts and washers and check the brackets the mount is attached to.
