Thermostat bypass hose
What the part does: The thermostat bypass hose carries coolant in the bypass section of the cooling circuit. A hardened, cracked or swollen hose starts to leak, risking coolant loss and engine overheating.

What to replace at the same time: At the same time, replace the hose clips and consider replacing the thermostat and its gasket. After fitting, top up and bleed the coolant.
