Connecting rod
What the part does: The connecting rod links the piston to the crankshaft and converts the piston's linear motion into rotation. A bent or cracked connecting rod leads to serious engine damage.

What to replace at the same time: We recommend replacing the big-end bearings, connecting rod bolts and the piston pin bushing at the same time.
